With the Max-Planck-Di?t the coal hydrate supply, except for a little fruit or times a roll in between, is extremely limited. On the Diätplan stand much fresh vegetable and protein-containing food such as lean meat, fish and eggs. The Max Planck diet can therefore be understood as a low carb diet, but is much stricter than other diets.
The Max Planck Diet remains controversial
As early as 2001, the Max Planck Society declared that neither it nor any of its institutes had anything to do with this diet and rated it as a supposed "April Fool's joke."

Day 1 of the Max Planck Diet
Breakfast: Black coffee
Lunch: Two boiled eggs, plus as much spinach as you like.
Dinner: One large steak or three fried beefsteaks, plus green salad, celery to taste
Day 2 of the Max Planck Diet
Breakfast: Black coffee, served with a roll
Lunch: One large steak, plus green salad, fruit to taste
Dinner: Cooked ham to taste
Day 3 of the Max Planck Diet
Breakfast: Coffee black, without sugar and 1 roll
Lunch: Two boiled eggs, lettuce and tomatoes

Lunch: One boiled egg, carrots boiled or raw and Swiss cheese to taste
Dinner: Fruit and natural yogurt to taste

Lunch: Steamed fish, plus tomatoes to taste

From the 8th day the diet plan is repeated. The diet plan should be followed for a maximum of 14 days. During the diet make sure to drink plenty of water.
